Soft Pretzels (Jamie Foresta)

1 envelope powdered yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
4 cups flour
1 large egg, beaten
Kosher salt

Dissolve yeast in warm water
Add sugar, salt and blend in flour
Knead until smooth.
As soon as ready, cut into small pieces and make pretzel shapes on a greased pan.
Brush pretzels with egg and sprinkle with kosher salt.
Bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown
